FAQ

Does Overr-Syncerr have a GUI?

No, it does not.

It's not a service like Overseerr that requieres a GUI for interaction; it's essentially a script that is design to be configured once and left to run in the background.

Does it work with Jellyseerr?

Yes, it does!

The API endpoints used to communicate with Overseerr are the same in Jellyseerr; so you are welcome to use it instead.

Can I do a subtitle search using Overr-Syncerr?

No, you can only synchronize and translate subtitles.

I use only one instance of Radarr/Sonarr/Bazarr to manage my media. Do I need another 4K instance for Overr-Syncerr to work?

No, that is not required.

If you're using only one instance of either one or all of the services, you can still use Overr-Syncerr and you won't have to use the '4K' keyword when synchronizing/translating subtitles.

I have enabled 'Media Available', but the media still hasn't been labeled even though I can see it in my Plex library. What could be the issue?

The Media Available function requires that you have enabled 'Request Available' under the webhook settings and that the requested media is picked up as being 'available' by Overseerr/Jellyseerr.

If the media is marked as 'partially available', but is visible in your Plex library, you can enable 'MONITOR_REQUEST', which will scan your requests and apply any missing labels.

Can I set the subtitle offset or manually adjust subtitles?

Yes, you can by using the 'adjust by' and 'offset' keywords. You can find more info here.

I have discovered a bug or would like to make a recommendation. Where can I do that?

To report a bug or make a feature recommendation, you can do so either by posting an issue in the GitHub page.
